As we worship, God will renew passion and purpose in our hearts and our lives. Without His spirit flowing through us constantly, it is difficult to maintain a level of fervour and excitement. Worshipping God allows us to be recharged and re-energized as we run the race to which we’ve been called.

As we worship, God will reach the lost and recruit disciples. God’s heart is jealous for the people of India. The people here are among the most spiritual in the world. They crave worship, so much so that they will worship almost anything. God’s heart is yearning for their worship and burning for their love. Just as in Scripture, as people observed the Presence of God move among His people they experienced conviction, they experienced the love of God and they felt God’s desire for them to come into relationship with Him.

As we worship, God will enable us to receive the gifts and fruits of the Spirit. His spiritual gifts empower us as we do the works of Christ. As we surrender ourselves in worship, He increases His power at work in our lives. The fruits of His Spirit, including Faith, Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace, are essential for us in our daily spiritual lives. We grow in Faith as we spend time with Him and continue to learn the nature of God. We grow in Hope as we come to know His plans and His calling for our lives. We grow in Love as He reveals His heart for us and imparts His love to us. As His children we are filled with an inexpressible and overwhelming Joy, which allows us to delight in Him; while His peace allows us to face any storm in our lives and remain unshaken.
As we worship, God will reveal His Glory in our midst. As we glorify God, He in turn reveals His glory among us. During our worship, Heaven opens its gates and our eyes our opened to splendid reality of God. Where His people gather to worship and seek His face, there He reveals Himself. As His presence increases, so does the weight of His Glory.
