We officially launched our Spring Session on February 17th with 26 students! Things are progressing incredibly well. Many of the students upon arrival didn't know much about what true worship was. Most were familiar with using music to praise God, but very few understood what deep, intimate, Biblical worship really was. God changed that within the first day!
The best way to teach anyone about worship is to lead him in to the presence of God and keep him there - and that is what we did from the start! Learning about worship is not enough, the students have been immersed in it from the first day and immediately we saw a marked difference. They have caught the vision for what worship is meant to be. We were blessed for our first week and a half to have Pastor Ben Sealey, who runs a worship school in the UK, come and teach our students. We threw them all straight into the river and God did amazing things with us all.
These young men are the first of many in a new generation of worshippers that God is raising up in India. Seeing hearts captured and the powerful, passionate Presence of God at work among His people, the lost will be inescapably drawn into an intimate relationship with Him. We are only now glimpsing a fraction of what God has in store.
New Studio
We are about to begin construction and equipping our new studio in the next couple days. A brother of ours, who has been teaching here since we began, has generously donated some money to help with the studio. That combined with some money we had budgeted for a vehicle will go to help cover the studio costs. We are being careful with the construction and design of the studio so that we will be able to relocate it to our permanent facility with hopefully minimal additional cost.
