PHASE II - OUTREACH

The second phase of the program is dedicated to outreach. This gives the students the opportunity to put into practice all that they have learned in Phase I. The students will be sent out in teams into the field to hold outdoor meetings: leading worship, sharing the word, ministering to the needs of the people and working to support the local Church.

Applied Implementation – Both Phases I & II

Nights of Worship/Prayer – Throughout the week, there will evenings of student led worship, prayer and devotions.

Worship Team Practices – Each student will be assigned to a worship team. These teams will be assigned practice times to develop and hone their skills.

Church Involvement – Every Sunday, the students will attend various churches within the city, to see what God is doing in His Church here on a broader scale; specifically to see what styles of worship are most prevalent and having the greatest impact, and also to expose the students to a variety of worship styles. There may also be opportunities to lead worship on occasion at a number of these churches throughout the city.

Conferences – Covenant School of Worship will conduct seminars and conferences throughout the year in various locations to teach people about worship as well as to infuse passionate, intimate worship in to the Church at a local level.

Festivals – ICM conducts festivals of all sizes throughout the year from smaller ones with 20,000 people in attendance to large ones with over 100,000 people in the crowd. While Covenant Worship staff members are primarily responsible for providing the worship music, all the students will be involved in these events in some capacity.

Church Placement Program – For those students who are interested, upon successfully completing the school, opportunities are provided to serve as the worship leader for one of ICM’s many local churches.

Covenant Worship Staff – Upon graduation, the top performing students may be offered a full-time position on the Covenant Worship staff. The CW staff frequently travels around the state leading worship for all of ICM’s festivals, conferences and district level outreaches.
