Since the age of 6, when he first picked up a guitar, Doug has had a passion for worship. He started leading worship by the age of 8, accompanying his father with the music for the children’s program at his church in the U.K. By the age of 14, Doug was on the worship team at the Vineyard church he attended in the U.S., where he later served as worship pastor from 1999-2001. During this time, he also was a guest worship leader at many local churches, of varying denominations, throughout his town; and has led worship at different venues all across the United States.
In 2000, Doug first began his involvement with Covenant Worship, recording and producing our first album, with such songs as Kondala Thattu, Yesu – Yogyuda Parishududa, and Ni Shudhee Sunniday. With his extensive experience as a worship leader, musician and audio engineer, Doug has much to impart in to the lives of the students. He is driven by an overwhelming desire to see an abundance of gifted and skilled worship leaders rising up within the Church in India
